Cheesy Fundue
Go retro with a fondue!! They’re very chic and all the rage, great fun for kids too!!
Serves 4
3tsp cornflour
225ml white wine or vegetable stock
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 x 200g bags grated Seriously Strong Chedddar
1tsp dried oregano
1tbsp whiskey (optional)
Serve with chunks of baguette, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, cooked chunks of chicken or beef
- Mix together the cornflour with a little of the wine. Put the garlic and remaining white wine in a fondue pot or heavy based pan. Bring to the boil, lower the heat and add the cheese, stirring until melted.
- Add cornflour and oregano, cook for 2 mins, stirring gently until combined and creamy– do not allow to boil. Add the whiskey and serve with chunks of bread, broccoli etc.
